Description
The Storm is a lightweight multi role fighter. Not terribly fast, only capable of doing Mach 1.75 it makes up for it by being very hard to spot on radar, having a high operational ceiling, and is very manoeuvrable at all altitudes.
Its small size means it can only carry light bombs and missiles. Both on twin hardpoints and a small internal belly-bay.
The fighter is popular with pilots due to its easy handling. Many examples made there way into civilian hands. Where they were converted to transport courier work. The fighter was also used by many corporate security forces during the Corporate Wars and by pirates who like the Storm because its common, easy to hide and easy to maintain and cheap.
