Thunderous transporter.

'OK Gentlemen lets wake the neighbours...' A thunderous makes a low level pass escorted by two interceptors.

This is a huge transporter designed for transporting cargo and passangers over long ranges, from orbital stations/ships/ moons across planetary surfaces. It comes in many versions and is operated equally by the millitary and by civillian contractors. the side pods can carry aditional cargo however the millitary use it to house two small one man interceptors in case of attack.

It is equipped with 4 supercruise fusion plasma engines, a low output anti gravity engine to assist with laden takeoffs, S/VTOL and space manovers. It is armed with aft mounted flak cannon and two aft gatling railguns for anti missile/fighter defence, it can carry arial mines and stinger style short range anti fighter missiles. Emp shielding provides limited anti low output energy weapon attack and its sturdy hull provides good protection from small arms fire up to 20 mm.

You could say its part shuttle/C17/Jumbo with harrier abillity.

Its part of a fantasy aircraft project, 'the FAP' im working on.
